SH v1.1 Client package has been released! Posted by Zarkow on Fri Apr 21, 2006 at 22:42 The full install of SH v1.1 for BF42 is now released. For the client package, click here: Silentheroes.1.1.DiGiTALSOFTWARE.exe, SFV-file. Make sure you uninstall any previous version of SilentHeroes before installing this one. For full changelog for SH v1.1, head over here: "What is new in 1.1?" Some quick answers before the questions begin: A: Is this the last update for SH to BF42? Q: Nothing has been decided. There is always things we would like to improve. And as long as anyone plays it... A: So there is no new content planned? Q: Well, nothing definite, like the ships for this release. A: Why update to a 'dead' game like BF42 when BF2 is so much bigger? Q: Since we never abandon a project until we feel it represents what we wanted to do with it. Have any other questions? I really want to thank the SH team for all of your work on this mod, including this latest release and any possible future releases. This is quite possibly the best and most professional looking mod ever made for BF1942. I still play DC and SH often, and have played both from around version .3 or .35 or so, and really enjoy them both. Unfortunately not enough people know about, or have ever played Silent Heroes, and they are really missing out. Anyhow, I cannot thank you enough for this great game and all of the fun i've had while playing it. Excellent work! And i'll see... no, kill you all online. OK, I see Desert Combat is a dirty word here. Sandbox mod huh? Should have known as much. Reply to comment
