- In SH team-play is rewarded. A lone gunner might be able to get some kills but never dominate the battlefield. If you are going to capture a flag - bring some friends!
- Parachutes are removed from normal infantry-classes.
- Transport helicopters have light or no armour - don't land directly into enemy fire!
- "Fire-smoke-move" is the best way to use tanks and combat vehicles.
- A combatvehicle will never survive a head-on-head fight with an tank. Ambush it to get shots in the sides or rear. Or bring along another combatvehicle!
- Parachutes are removed from normal infantry-classes.
- The sniper can plant a spawn-flag. It's in weapon-slot 1, instead of the knife. The flag has a time-limit and can be removed with grenades, exp-packs and other splash-weapons.
- Always make sure you don't leave anyone behind when taking off with transport-boats, vehicles or helicopters.
- SH doesn't reward rambo-style playing. Short controlled burts is the way to handle a gun. Going prone also improves the aim a lot.

- Practise flying helicoptes off-line. HKP11 / Bell412 (small transporthelis) are the easiest ones begin with.
- Don't over-pack the HKP14 (large transport-heli) - there is infact a max weight limit...
- Don't blame the guns if you can't hit. Practise and try to notice when the hit-indicator gives feedback. No, a soldier can't take 15 bullets - you missed.
