The birds are returning from Africa and the flowers are sprouting from the ground - what more perfect time for revealing the release-date of the next version of SilentHeroes could one want?

The next release-date of SilentHeroes is set for the 22th of April.

To put an landmark in our development this version will be released as version 1.0 - and officially leave Beta-status.

We feel this more accurately reflects the overall status of the mod and the level of development it has gone trough. While the development of content has taken us longer then projected, due to real-life commitments for all us developers, the other parts of the mod, namely balancing, optimization and bug-catching, has been on schedule. So when the content finally arrives we actually land ahead of schedule compared to the version-number of the beta released, and that is where we are now. We have concluded the development of the content, we are happy with the overall balance and all known bugs are corrected.

This doesn't mean that the development is halted, but merely that the ongoing bi-monthly release-cycle isn't needed any longer, so that we can focus on adding bonus-material, handle upcoming issues and fine-tune every aspect of the mod.

In other news we also have some, but only a limited number, of t-shirts left. Since I'm the one handling the t-shirts now for the team and I'm currently moving to a new occupation some 10.000 kilometers away, this might be the last chance of getting your own t-shirt. And to celebrate the up-comming 1.0-release the price has for this time only been reduced to 100 SEK from 150 SEK for any t-shirts being ordered up and until the release-day.
