First step towards syndicating the forum with the homepage As you can see a somewhat altered version of the homepage is up. The main difference is ofcourse the real-time syndication of the forum on the front page, to connect them further. Some changes are gonna occur in the close future too but alterations and possible an move of the forum from one server to the other have to be done first, to garantee stability and less stress on the both servers used. Some things being newsed on the front-page and not in the specific forums-section now used, are the release of SH version 0.33 (also to be seen on the download-page), the movie with the HKP16 and the screens of the Tiger and Lynx. Optimisition and streamline'ing of the php-code has been done during the night, reducing the amount of data recieved by the user and also the amount of stress on the server. Corrected an issue with sid-info ould corrupt the db-query for spanned news-posts (page 2 and so on) and failing to produce an proper page. 437 users have been purged from the database for having accounts with incorrect e-mail adresses. This has been done to decrease the stress for the host-server for when bouncing e-mails that wasn't able to reach a valid adress is reported. Fixed an bug where viewtopic.php for the frontpage would trim the topic-headers incorrectly. Also re-pointed all movies besides EngerdalAtWar (only one that was fixed before) to the altered ftp-system BFCentral uses, to add counters and info to all downloads. Oops.
