A small quick.fix-patch has been compiled for anyone that might have unusualy long load-time for maps.

Size: 4.69Mb

It's verified punkbuster-safe and won't conflict with gameplay.

OK.
Should everybody use this or only thoose who feel they have long load times?
Is it possible to uninstall it aften installing? Ie removing _001 files?

As im pretty curious by nature, whats fixed? Always nice to put stuff like this in the collective memory untill next time someone somewhere get the problem..

It's up to you if you want to use it or not, but it's punkbuster-safe and won't affect the game in any other way then load-time of maps. The menu-handling was somewhat rewritten from DICEs version to make sure no dual layer is displayed when it's not needed, that was the case with BFs loading-image (pre-0.45) and animated flags (0.45) under the map-loading screen.

Mkt uppskattad liten fix det där. Jag hadde iof inga stora problem med laddningen men ca 30 sec tjänar jag iaf.

Jag led inte nämnvärt med mina 45-60 sekunder laddtider (som jag alltid haft) men efter fixen är jag nere på mellan 30-40 sekunder. Så nånting gjorde den.
En annan sak, som påverkar mina laddtider en hel del, är om jag kör med CDn eller en image-fil. När jag körde med CDn brukade det ta 2-3 minuter och med imagefil 45-60 innan fix.
